No. Iraq is our ally. Why would we fight Iraq after we just went through all that work to depose their tyrant leader and freely elect their government?

Well, the U.S. Army (and I believe the other branches of the military are there as well) is not fighting the Iraqiis. I don't know who they are fighting over there.

No, I would not go. I am in my early 40's now and I think this war is a mistake. Saddam Hussein and the Iraqiis did not attack us. I do feel sorry for the members of the military who are over in Iraq.

I'm planning on it when I get a little older. I plan on going to the United States Air Force Academy and becoming an officer. My mom hates the thought of me going. Whenever an Army or an military commercial comes on, she turns the channel. I believe that everyone has a duty to serve their country. Freedom isn't free and I plan on earning mine. Someday I will walk down the street with my head held high knowing that I have earned my freedom! I don't care what my mom says, if I get accepted into the academy, I'm going!

I would serve in a heart beat, unfortunately I was turned down because of my congenital back problems, I was ready to serve our wonderful country when I graduated from college.

We are not fighting a vietnam war again, before you answer a question in regards to the war in Iraq, please do your research and educate yourself on what is going on before forming an already overused and tired opinion of what is regurgitaed by liberal media and politicians. There is a lot more going on there than obviously you know... read... read... and read more... then come back and prove how this is another vietnam war.

Support our troops they are fighting for your right to post stupidity!

They're not really fighting Iraq - that battle ended pretty quickly - but, sure, if there was something useful I could do. The military seems pretty convinced there /isn't/ anything someone of my age and physical fitness level could do, though.

I have. Perhaps others, who appear so concerned about this war, might consider doing the same thing and attempt to make a difference through action, rather than idle words safe at home.

No way. This war is a waste, I'm sorry to say. We need to bring our troops home, we have no business meddling in a civil war.

No, because the U.S. is fighting another Vietnam war that cannot be won. And they don't want us over there in the first place.
