Bipolar disorder is severe mood swings. It is not a split personality disorder or being two-faced. It is caused by a chemical imbalance in the brain. Be careful not to label or judge someone if you do not have a clear or propper understanding of what is going on with them,

I'm a translator and proofreader however I do not proper humans on the internet until requested to considering the fact that humans that don't seem to be linguistically minded simply do not care, it is a waste of time, and it simply will get on their nerves. That mentioned, deficient grammar, spelling, and punctuation is disturbingly frequent for the duration of the web, different humans see it, and, figuring out no bigger, replica it; and so the vicious circle is going on till deficient English is the norm (if it is not already). I could must stop my process to proper all of the errors I see in an afternoon's searching: this web page is filled with errors (now not adding the intentional ones), as many from the preachers of well grammar as from the defenders of illiteracy; the shortage or overuse of the apostrophe being the worst (Two Weeks' Notice or Two Weeks Notice? Yes, even Warner Bros get it unsuitable, so what wish for the leisure folks?). And what are we able to do whilst even revered web sites just like the BBC are rife with errors? By the best way, the spell assess is priceless however now not ideal. I practically placed "particularly my process" considering the fact that my palms are continuously racing forward typing traditional phrases earlier than my mind reaches them to inform them what they will have to truthfully be typing. The spell assess do not have picked that up. It most commonly would not choose up all deficient punctuation both, e.g. the change among it is and its. This web page is truthfully now not that unhealthy in comparison to many boards I've noticeable, so might be a few tolerance will have to be exercised.

"Bipolar" is the correct spelling. It's not exactly the same as "split personality." Bipolar means someone who has depression and periods of extremely elevated moods. "Split Personality" was later called "Multiple Personality" and now it's called "Dissociative Identity Disorder." That means someone subconsciously creates more than one identity for themselves because of some kind of deep anxiety (usually a history of abuse during childhood).
Some folks seem to have more than one personality because they treat you differently at different times. Sometimes they just have mood problems or maybe they are really shallow people who use certain people as friends for their own convenience and then avoid them later. Maybe they have real personality disorders, or maybe they're just jerks.

It is commonly spelled Bipolar; however, Bi-polar is also used. Both typically refer to a type of sever mental disorder. It usually shows up in a person where there mood or behavior suddenly changes; e.g., very happy to extremely angry. This can be described as having a split personality. But it usually has a person going from one extreme to another in their moods or behavior.

Bipolar(that's how you spell it) disorder is different than multiple personality disorder. Try disingenuous, deceitful, false, or treacherous.
