So what if it's not politically correct, we should be free to question validity of Islam just as much as other religions.

Because, most Americans are from Christian or Jewish backgrounds, but also shun from their religions. This is their way of justifying to themselves that they don't need to make the commitment of not attending church or temple on a regular basis. So it makes them feel comfortable insulting their own religous backgrounds. The Muslim beliefs are something they don't understand mainly because they were never exposed to them. So, they tread lightly when the issue comes up, and take the low road.

I do not like to insult anyone, but I am not afraid to question the validity of anything, including evolution and any religion. Yes, we should be free to question, but not necessarly free to insult, or cast apersions. A few days ago, someone called me a jackass because they got the mistaken impression that I did not believe in dinosaurs. I have stood face to face with dinosaurs, so that assumption was sure way off base.

Are yo kidding me??? Do you READ the posts targeting Muslims and Islam? Islam gets attacked as much as any other belief system, and possibly more so.

i am a muslim girl....but why should you ever insult my religion ? or why should i ever insult yours?....if you ever insult my religion, our teachings in Islam prevents us and punish us if we insulted other religions because we simply believe in Judaism and Christianity. get my point.
Also, why INSULT, why not DISCUSS, Debate, see differences... i even won't respect you or anybody who insults any religion or belief or even to insult an Atheist.
That is ISLAM, dear.

People are not afraid to insult Islam and they do so quite often, but thankfully their insults turn out to be unfounded and quite often portray their own ignorance rather than any shortcomings of Islam.

What makes you think I believe in allah and the quram any more than I believe in god and the bible or torah or any other theists system and their books or "faith"? There is no religion that is valid. It's just Christians are more up in my face than the other groups are.

FYI I would not have a problem and have told muslims I their religion is bull too.

The Muslims used to be here more commonly. I simply don't see them around very much any more. Perhaps they are being ordered to be good and not post on Yahoo!Answers, I don't know. You see, the Imams have to keep them in order, and mixing with the west is not good for a Murderous Theocracy.
