Ok, I always though I would go for a prep. kinda guy. You know polo, nice hair the whole thing. But I always end up going for the "skater bad boy". Im a "good girl". I get good grades and I dont think im sluty. So why do I always go for the exact opposite kinda guy I think I would like? Why do I always go for whats bad for me?....what I cant have?

I'm 14 and am gonna be a freshman in the fall. My realtionship with the "skater" didnt really end well. And the problem is, I know there all gonna end like that if I stick with a "bad boy".

same here. im not a prep myself, but considered to be a good and shy girl.
i guess those skater boys have this thing about them that us, good girls wish we had. u know, their jokes, their attitude and style. honestly i think there is nothing bad about a skater as long as he knows how to be a good boyfriend. but i dont thinks it will be good to marry, just a guess :)

1. Skaters are more fun, You want to be on the edge, or close to someone who is out there.
2. You haven't had that much success meeting anyone who is polo/prep that has any depth or interest in anything besides drinking and getting his winkie wet. And they have this incredible habit of voting people off the island.

It's the excitement. I know I also went for the "bad boys" but of course it was the worst relationships. They are bad boys for a reason and you need to analyze why you like them and what you want in a relationship. I learned that if I wanted a guy that was good for me and could be long term I had to get over the "bad boy" fantasy.

Good question. I think by prep you mean a mummas boy. The trouble with those types is that they can be boring at times. Im guessing you have become more outgoing.
Nothing wrong with you, just because you can write a wishlist doesnt mean its an honest one, most girls cant be honest with themselfs when it comes to these things

there's nothing wrong with "skater guys"....the only difference is that they like playing a sport that actually involves skill....not just smashing somebody to the ground. There are good guys in every "category" but you can't bind yourself to only one type of guy. and generally opposites attract, so maybe you should just give it a try.

Because they are the opposite. You probably like them because they live on the edge and do exciting stuff. I'm kinda like you. I like this one guy who is always nice and tidy and sweet but for some reason I'm going out with a kick-butt skate boarder.

don't just look at the clothes, look at how he treats you and what he would be like in a relationship.
