I'm not a fundamentalist or even a christian, for that matter. But I do like to watch the Discovery Channel from time to time. It is one of the few places that you can find the unvarnished truth, rather than a bunch of junk about miracles, etc.

It's one of my favorite channels. I love Discovery Health and the National Geographic Channel. I am not certain if I am a true fundamentalist, though. I suspect I might be.

I am a Christian, but not a Fundamentalist. I watch it from time to time. I like history. But yes, they cannot be counted on for being accurate with Christianity. One time they had a guy on it who was from the Jesus Seminar. There might have been more, but I happened to research the guy. He was co founder of it, or co chair whatever. But it made me realize that they had something wrong with them, talking to people who believe in the Bible of their own creation about biblical things.
So both the Discovery and the National Geographic I have found to be littered with revisionist leanings without announcing who is doing the talking. They just captioned the seminary they once attended.

I used to watch some things on the Discovery Channel, until I saw too many lies being aired. Like, they "found" the tomb of Jesus with His and Mary Magadaline's bones in it. (isn't that strange-it was the same guy who "found" the buriel box of James, the brother of Jesus!) Oh,Yeah, it's also the channel that airs all the Da Vinci Code crap. Lies, Garbage, trash!!
Now, my remote pretty much skips over that channel all by itself! Thanks for asking.
Oh yeah, about evolution; you can pretty much guess how I stand with that one.

We don't know for certain. We have faith that God's word is true. It's not blind faith, the bible is full of excellent reasons to believe every word in there. But in the end we have a choice to trust it as truth or not. Just as evolutionists have a choice to believe the wacko scientists who claim there is no God & that we all appeared from the muck a bazillion years ago and grew up from fishes to mokeys to cave men. But I ask you, which theory requires more faith to believe? My answer is : the bible & creation theory is a far superior intellectual choice in light of actual evidence (and lack of evidence for true macro-evolution).
