Amitabha is the Buddha of great merit, a former Bodhisattva. Medicine Buddha has the healing power.
Meditating on the healing element of the Medicine Buddha can allow the ill person to begin to heal themselves.

Yep they're different. Medicine Buddha is the Buddha of the Eastern Pure Land and Amitabha is the Buddha of the Western Pure Land.

I don't agree with above answer that Buddha had healing power.
It should be consider as myth, or human error.
I'd read so many time, and could not find Buddha healing. All I found was He is human , and act as a great teacher.
