No. Bobcats are wild animals with wild instincts. The poster who said she had a bobcat for two years with no problems... well, why the past tense? It strikes me as significant that they no longer kept the animal once it reached adulthood.
Wild animals are cute and sweet as babies. Natural instincts kick in as they get older, and that is why you can't simply tame wild animals by hand raising them.

We had a bobcat when I was a about 6 that we bought from a breeder when she was 3 weeks old. We had her for about 2 years and never had any problems with her. She was almost like a dog the way she would follow people around the house and very smart. The only time she attacked anyone was when my mom's boyfriend backed her into a corner while playing and she slapped him across the face, but she was declawed. So it is possible to have a tame one, just make sure you know what you are doing.
In response to the poster below. We only had her for two years because we were unable to get a wild animal license for the county we were living in, not because we had problems with her.

Tameing a wild animal such as a bobcat is inhumane takeing an animal like that out of its natural invironment is wrong and dangerous.

No,I would never own a bobcat. Why? Because they are a WILD animal. I have nothing against bobcats.I really don't think that they can be trained. They are meant to be in the wild, that's why they're called wild animals. I don't think that any wild animal should be caged or penned up,especially zoo animals. They should be left in their own environment.

I knew a family who took in a bobcat kitten when it was tiny.
They lived on a farm so once he was grown he had a large area to roam in. Not sure if things would have worked out so well if they had tried to keep him indoors.

my cat thinks she owns me, i feed her and everything and she sleeps on my bed. I just got back from a 2 week holiday and couldn't wait to come home and see Millie and my dog and when i got in i went to Millie first and was happy to see her but she didn't even look bothered haha but still love her lots. My dog on the other hand did a huge we on the sofa and couldnt stop licking me lol.

It wouldn't be a good idea - you can never be sure that a wild cat is completely tame.

I don't think they can be tamed and wild animals can never be fully trusted.
