Im interested in learning more about eastern religions and the symbol of "aum". And I know Aum somewhat represents the Hindu relgion and I want to check to see if what I think is part of the religion is correct. ?? Karma, No harm to others, Moksha (release from cycle of birth and rebirth), enlightment to achieve Moksha, and if you live a live of no good deeds and harming others, etc. then you can be reincarnated into a worse life?

aum is the sound representation of the Supreme Creator.By chanting aum(or Om) you are chanting Gods name and one can get liberation(or moksha) by constantly and continuously chanting aum. aum can also be broken down into: a = God: u = the soul(man): m = material creation(material world).
Karma is activity(good or bad) that produces resultant reactions i.e for every action the is an opposite and equal reaction. Reincarnation is related to the activities you perform(karma). Good activities lead to good results, bad activities lead to bad results and spiritual activities lead to moksha. These are just summary points. you are on the right track though.

PS "Hinduism" is very broad. There are different schools of thought within Hinduism. Good luck on your quest for enlightenment.

"Aum" is a sound that represents more than I can go into here in this short space, however the symbol, particularly the Sanskrit symbol is often used to indicate Hinduism, so you're partly right.

Karma, ahimsa, moksha... yes you're on the right track thereabouts... check out the website and/or the mag on the rack and enjoy!

aum is supposed to be the first sound uttered in this world..
Ahimsa-means no harm to any one or anything..
Karma-actually means actions (ie your good deeds and bad deeds constitute karma)
Moksha-Liberation from bodily self to attain God.

If you have done bad deeds(bad karma) you will not attain Moksha...but will be reincarnated... until you gets perfected and attains Moksha...

"Aum" is a deeply philosophical symbol which represents the three states of consciousness.

As you seem to be interested in hinduism, [though calling it by a name that ends in 'ism' sounds pretty odd], please go to the following site , http://www.geocities.com/sanatana_dharma2002/ and revel in the information given there, to some extent.
