I think the reason why Christianity is the most dominant religion in the world has to do with Technology.
Most advanced countries at that time were Christian (England, Spain, France...) They had the technology. They had ships and planes to go around the world and spread Christianity. They had the money to fund those missionaries. They had printers to print Bibles, and teachers to teach how to read the Bible. Had those advanced countries embraced Buddhism instead, Buddhism would have become the major religion in the world today. Don't you agree?

Not at all. I thoroughly disagree. God blessed His people from the very beginning to spread the Word of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. If the countries were advanced, God advanced them and not technology or science. If science or technology had anything to do with it then God made that happen also.
Just like God is using computers and satellites today to spread the gospel into all the world.

God said thousands of years ago that "every eye would see the two witnesses of God laying in the streets of Jerusalem."

When this was written this would have been impossible, but not today. God lets the technology come into being that He wants His people to have so His Word can be fulfilled.

Give all the glory to God and not man.

Remember that within 2 generations of Christ, Christianity had exploded in the Roman Empire to such a degree that the emperor perceived it as a threat to his so called godhood. Remember too that modern science can trace its roots directly to the Church. Also, Europe was populated by very backward and barbaric people at the time of the early church, my the wonders that Christ has given us.

I'm pretty sure planes weren't around when Christianity made its big spread.

Secondly, when it says Christianity is the most populous religion it lumps in Roman Catholicism with Christianity, which is NOT Christianity.

Thus, making Muslim the most populous religion.

No it was the fact that Christianity had an entire empire to spread it's message. Christianity was well established before ships and planes.

Christianity was spread with violence and lies. No one expects the Spanish Inquisition.

And the guy who said Roman Catholics are not Christians is an idiot.

Yes, but only the enlightened Christian ideal of us each having an individual conscience made it possible for us to progress beyond barbarism.
