Ah, the intricacies of language.
Although in English, we make a distinction between 'heaven' and 'sky', this is not so in some other languages. In German, for instance one word describes both, and only the context gives a clue.
I think that is ONE of the reasons people have become accustomed to look up into the sky when they think of 'heaven'.
Another is, of course, the funny idea that 'God, the All-Present' must be somewhere 'outside' instead of 'everywhere, including inside'.
Some religions do not refer to the outside when thinking of 'heaven' but rather look to the inside first, and then everywhere as well, fostering a sense of unity, love and belonging, while others employ strict judgments about who qualifies to be in heaven - or not.....
The trees are definitely qualified to represent 'heaven' - in my humble opinion :)

No, I never have noticed that. I always assumed they were looking much higher, like up to the clouds or stars. So... you think maybe they are remembering a past life as apes or monkeys, or that it indicates a racial memory of our evolution daze? There is the possibility that Heaven is perhaps on some far off planet. One book I read suggested that it was Saturn, because of what the Book of Revelations says about a rainbow, which is similar to that planet's famous rings.

See, except this one guy, who was standing in the Sahara Desert, he didn't have any trees to look at. Not even any clouds. So he must have been looking to heaven.

God lives in heaven.
The Squirrel is God.
Ergo - heaven is in the tree tops.

You have to look beyond the trees to the stars. Only God could have created them!

thats interesting because heaven is not literally up or down or any direction. it is simply another dimention our human brain cannot comprehend yet because we only use like 1 or 2% of it. but thier are ways to access more of it to notice to other dimension. its awsome!
