Would that be the toys everyone can buy from all the nice stores we all have, we all know the ones, they'd be the ones that millions have died for just so you could have a decent upbringing and education. get your head out of your **** someday you'll be thick enough to say it in-front of a vet, and guess where your smart mouth will get you then.
grow up. or go live where they don't have your privileges.

I won't even attempt to explain how ignorant a question that is, But I would point out something for your education.
there has never been a time without war, there has never been a country without conflict and there has never been a time where man has not had to fight for some reason. The day there are no more wars is the day all humans and all life cease to exist.
Why? Because Humans and all living things are in constant conflict, that just a fact. Only people ignorant of how life works would ever expect war or conflict to end. Sorry pal, it's not possible, it's life, the sooner you put down the far left literature the sooner you can start living.
Enjoy.

I think the military has little to do with starting wars! Maybe that is a question you can ask George Bush!
And the military are no toy soldiers. Though this is the 2nd time we have been caught in a type of warfare the military was not trained for, they learn on the fly or die! That they have been mismanaged and misused for 5 years is not their fault! The bad thing is that they are paying the price.

No, due to the simple paradox, if you want peace prepare for war. And just so you know most soldiers are good biys and girls. They live under an extra set of laws from you and me it's called UCMJ or universal code of military justice. To you it's probably better known as martial law. So no. And soldiers don't start wars, politicians and the idiots who vote for them do.

In a decade or so when we have a breather from this war on terrorism, hopefully the military will re-establish itself and become a self-sufficient society again. Remember what it was like to complete a mission without civilians contracted-out to do most of the fighting?

There always has been and always will be a a need for Armies, Kind of like the way Hitler turned his back on German Citizens that were Jewish and killed or tortured them all.

I find it sickening that you can poke fun at people whom volunteer to keep us safe. We will always need our military to insure our freedoms.
