It can't be "religious" because they don't believe in God or religion. The only way unbelievers can be "converted" is to have a "religious" experience. For example; an accident where the revelation of God itself comes down upon them.
The apostle Thomas was an athiest until Jesus revealed himself to thomas in the upper room, telling him "put your hand here" (where the spear had pierced his side), and Jesus said "look at my hands" (where the nails pierced them). This is why Thomas was called "doubting Thomas", he didn't believe until Thomas physically seen Jesus, and the piercings on his hands and side. Only a revelation from God will convert a "doubting Thomas".

You would need to read, pray and make up your own mind ultimately.. Faith is internal and not externally imposed on a person.. Faith is not running around telling lots of people that "i have faith.." Over time the internal workings of faith will lead to works which mirror the depth of one's faith.. The works component would come next, not to brag to others or show off, but works as a statement of one's internal state of being.. Works as reflex and natural response based on faith vs show for society..
If a person is an ardent atheist who tries to convince others to be so, then the person's religion is atheism.. Then the atheist does have a religion..
Start by praying the Psalms which Christ prayed.. Read a little background on the Psalms first - very interesting little poems/prayers.. Some are angry.. Some are peaceful.. The Psalms by themselves are an interesting study and the basis of what monks around the world pray every single day.. http://www.osb.org http://www.ocso.org

i do now no longer be attentive to if the a number of Christians attempt to persuade atheists. There ought to be some who're merely via actuality I see questions addressed to atheists. i do now no longer open those. I somewhat attempt to counter lies approximately Christianity with what i think of is actuality so as that they won't reason others to lose faith. i would be plenty happier if the religion section replaced into somewhat for those that're religious to invite one yet yet another questions. i do unlike atheist vs Christian debates.

no one should rely on the message that "worked" before to work everytime.
because every time of witnessing is supposed to be unique.
...
so i wont give any particular prepared message.
...
neither would i presume that anything i say could "automatically" convince an atheist... let alone instantly.
i just leave it with God as to whatever results there may be.

You say this like belief/faith is always a simple thing. One statement will not do it.
Here is my point of view anyway. You can't deny there is wind you can't see it, hear it,etc. You can only see the affects of it, hear the affects of it and so one. I know there is a God (Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ) . There influance is in my heart I am guided by them everyday. But yet I can't see, hear (with ears), taste, touch, or feel (with my hand etc.) them. But just like wind it does not mean they don't exist. I am changed by them, protected by them, etc thus I see there affects like the affects of wind.

For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, IT IS the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast. -Ephesians 2:8-9.
You have to know this, and believe this yourself or there is no getting through to anyone who does not believe.

i have none.
the goals of my gods do not include converting everyone to their worship.
and my goals in life have no relation to what my neighbour believes.
people that have a text or a statement that they use to prove that their gods are real. have it for the sole reason of converting the masses.
as this is not our goal we have none.

In the confine of our secret hiding place, deep down inside, we all know that we need someone to save us. We can not save ourselves. If you honestly look inside yourself, that truth will surpass all others. We all need a Savior.

FAITH IS THE BELIEF IN WHAT YOU CANNOT SEE BUT KNOW TO BE TRUE....
YOU CAN'T SEE THE WATER COMPANY..BUT YOU KNOW THAT IF YOU TWIST THE WATER SPIGOT..WATER WILL COME OUT...
MY WIFE PHYSIOLOGICALLY SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO HAVE KIDS...WE HAVE 2!
ALL ATHEISTS BASE THEIR LIVES UPON THE CONCEPT .."I'LL BELIEVE IT WHEN I SEE IT"
CHRISTIANITY IS BASED UPON THE IDEA OF "I'LL SEE IT WHEN I BELIEVE IN IT" "IT" may refer to Christ or Heaven or anything else that you have not yet seen but believe to be true!
ultimately atheists must convert themselves...no other person can do that for them...

None.
I don't have a need to convince you of anything.
If you are curious about God, talk to Him yourself, and let him convince you.
When I was agnostic, and got good and curious, I sought God out, myself, and requested that when and if He proved himself real to me... that he please NOT use humans with their insipid arguments.
God, Himself, convinced me. I wouldn't "try" to convince you of his reality even if you paid me to try. When and if it ever matters to you, ask Him to convince you.
