its a type of input like RCA. the difference is speaker wire frome your deck provides the input, this si a popular method for factory radios. essentially you hook your amp up like a speaker. there is a plug that plugs into the amp with bare wire to splice to the systems existing speaker wire. It is better to use RCA's if they are available.

HIGH LEVEL INPUT WOULD BE IF YOU DONT HAVE RCA JACKS ON YOUR DECK . IT WOULD WIRE IN FROM YOUR SPEAKERS , IF YOU HAVE RCA JACKS DONT USE THEM
