The best remedy I know (and have been using it for over 40 yrs) is to gargle with strong salt water as warm as you can stand it then follow with Listerine. The sore throat will be gone in no time. If not contact your physician in case you have Strep throat. Then you will require antibiotics to get rid of it and it IS highly contagious towards anyone near you.

i actually use very hot tea made with: mint leaves, honey, ginger, and orange peal. its guarenteed to work faster and better than medicine. dont let it toughur toungue or it will brun it. i let it being super hot touch my throat and it burns off the bad germs off of it.
