A little while ago as in an hour ago. We're done for good.

The best advice is NOT to jump into another relationship right away - the rebound can be a very dangerous place...

It will take time to make the pain go away, but a good group of friends will make it that much easier :)

How long is a little while ago? It depends if you have given yourself time to heal. There is no set time on healing a broken heart. I would suggest that you keep yourself busy and go out with friends. It does no good to sit around and sulk about it, pick yourself up there is a whole big world out there for you to explore. Give yourself some time before getting into another relationship this is the worse thing that people do. Rebound relationships do not work out most of the time.

It doesn't sound like a huge break-up, since it just happened a little while ago. I don't know the details, but I would give the break-up a couple of cooling off days and then get back together and see if there is anything worth saving. You both need to talk it out, because you might have bailed too soon. lol.

The best thing you can do is force yourself to go out with friends, find a new hobby or even get a job. Meeting people and getting to know yourself can really speed up the healing process. I know you may not feel like going out but after a while, you'll be enjoying your single life more than you ever thought you would. Good luck!

You sound like me. . I loved my bf and he broke up with me a week ago. I loved him and I thought I would die without him but i tried to move on. I have another bf now and I'm happier to now how to run a a better relationship. . My ex still tells me he loves me but I try to ignore him when he says it, fear of any emotions i still have for him come back up and make me break up with a wonderful guy. Just MOVE on and find herself a better guy.

It's always hard to get over your first love, but you learn more. The world isn't going to end you just got to see what your priorities are first. But you really need is time, time, time to get over people. Or you can just start to date again and see what you've been missing and have fun. Enjoy life and your friends company that will help you allot to get over things. best of luck because i know it's hard but you will get over it-trust me!

I can't say it will get better with time, I'm still not really over my first love and that was 25 years ago. You will find, however, that when another special person enters your life, it wont seem so bad.

Why did you break up?? I'm sure your everything was sex, so you give it up for nothing! Where is it written that you kids have to jumpl into bed with whomever tells you hi?? It usually ends up the same way everytime, Don't you ever read other letters of breakups on here??

Its hard to get over heart breaks. Close him out of your life. Get rid of everything her every gave to you, and no contact, what so ever. It take a couple of months.

Well, at first, you don't and you'll get depressed for a while. Eventually you just learn to adapt and then you just kinda, ...well i can't really explain it, you will understand though when you get to that point
