WHEN I WENT IN DEVICE MANAGER IT SAYS WINDOWS COULD NOT LOAD THE DRIVER THAT THE DRIVER MAY BE CORRUPTED OR MISSING THERE IS AN ERROR CODE THE CODE IS 39

Power down. Unplug the power cord. Open the computer. Push in on the power connector and the ribbon cable connector(both ends). Try that.

Have you ever put a cleaning disc in it? Sometimes that helps. Have you tried restarting your computer?

Exactly what is happening when you put in a disc. Does it just spin and spin or do you get an error message.

Thats happens, if old it means you need to buy another one.
If its new take it back or send it to the manufacturer and get them to fix it.
