Well. a lot of people get stressed out because they are worried about going into high school, and that they have one more year until they get there. Just basically dont rush trough the school year, just have fun. A lot of people think that they are going to get A LOT of homework.., You really dont get moret than any other year. But tey do expect you to act more mature and get your homework in on time. Good Luck.

Eighth grade is not that much different than 7th grade. Just enjoy your summer and worry about that in September. The teachers will refresh your memory as far as math and English are concerned.
If you really want to prepare yourself, do a Google search on 8th grade reading lists and go from there.

You should be yourself don't try to be someone that somebody else wants you to be. Get all the things you need supplies wise in the beginning of the year. Don't be worrried because eighth grade is pretty much like seventh grade except you have more priviliges. Just relax and be yourself

Pick out some clothes that you like and wear them in a different combination. Buy new clothes from your favorite stores and always go when their is a major sale. Watch Rachel Ray's Show on Channel WDIV (check local listings) and watch What Not to Wear on TLC (on cable). For more tips, read magazines like Seventeen and Cosmo.

there is only a little more homework, but grades finally start to really matter. when you go clothes shopping, choose the things that look good on you, not just hypertrendy things. try mixing things up and try new things. don't overdo on eyeliner and perfume...a fresh look is always better than piling on makeup! have fun =]]

Well I'm 8th grade, and all you need would probably be a big binder, bag ect. You'll get much more homework, which I never do. But I'm a C student, so learn from my mistake.

I really advise you get a planner, all your classes, new school supply, maybe make a few new friends, and go to bed on time.

umm...pick how ur going to dress and wear your makeup and hair. save money for new clothes and new makeup. also get school supplies (that may help) and buy a few dresses for 8th grade since thats the time where you'll need them the most :]
