Lets see what the bible has to say starting in the beginning. In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. (Genesis 1:1) God saw all that He had made, and it was very good. (Genesis 1:31) So, God created everything and saw everything was good. This means in the beginning there was no suffering at all.
If there was no suffering in the beginning how did suffering come to the world? When Adam sinned he brought death and suffering into the world. Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned. (Romans 5:12) Here is Gods curse to us because of Adam: To Adam he said, "Because you listened to your wife and ate from the tree about which I commanded you, 'You must not eat of it,' "Cursed is the ground because of you; through painful toil you will eat of it all the days of your life. It will produce thorns and thistles for you, and you will eat the plants of the field. By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you will return." (Genesis 3: 17-19)
As you can see man brought suffering on himself. Sin is the cause of suffering. Without sin there is no suffering. Without the law there is no sin. So anything God says not to do is sin. Sin is lawlessness. For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23) Sin is simply rebelling against God. The effect of our rebelling against God is death and suffering. Sin was the biggest cancer that was brought on to the earth. Sin separates us from God. When we are separated from God we are cursed. Through the curse of our separation there is suffering.
When people say why do bad things happen to good people? The answer is no one is good. Jesus said, “No one is good—except God alone.” (Luke 18:19) The question should be why does God allow good things to happen to bad people. No one goes to God first. God has to come to us first. No one seeks God. So the answer to the question about suffering is simply we suffer because of our rebellion against God. Sin is the reason of suffering and death.

satan creating evil? yeah satan is a created christian god of modern pagans
we humans are the ones telling others what is right and wrong based on political figures in charge right now
give it 100 years and we will be back to missinary style only approved sex
evil is only others conditioning your behavior with punishment and rewards of social favors, nothing to do with a god or devil
you cannot have a god create a being that is evil and wash hands of it
no god, no devil, just us here and now, the end

For me, as I understand it. Yes and no. When there were just angels and Satan then called Lucifer led a revolt. Lucifer was an Angel of Light. Next to Christ he was kinda next in line. But he was outside the trinity and that made him angry. God gave everyone even the angel free will. Luicifer wanted to be as high as God. When he led the revolt in Heaven 1/3 of the angels fought on his side. At that time God cast Satan and his followers out of heaven, to roam earth. Unfortunatly it was the sin of man and woman that created the evil we now see. When they ate the fruit from the tree of knoweledge, they allowed Satan an in into their hearts. God made us beautiful in our natural form but sin makes us feel ashamed, ugly, and judgemental.
I don't know if what I said has any answers for you; but I hope it at least inspires you to read more of the Bible and specifically the book of Daniel.

Things like good and evil are illusory. They vary from time to time and circumstance to circumstance. What is always evil? What is always good? Good and evil are just 2 parts of the duality of material existence. And all things material are illusory. So since Christianity clings fervently to illusory concepts like good and evil, maybe it's illusory too. To Buddhists and Hindus good and evil are material terms like pretty and ugly, big and little, blue and red. A far as it pertains to god, god transcends all things material. Therefore it is ignorant to say that god is good or evil. God is more than both terms. To believe in and follow god's wisdom is wisdom, to ignore it is simply nescience, the only "Satan" in this world.

Them main probably I have for the Christianity, is that it teaches people that they are born into sin. So Jesus,or Yoshua Bin-Yosuf died on the cross for our sins to save us all. That's good in all but the fact of the matter is it's not logical to define humanity in such black in white terms. Religion has done many great things for humanity Dr.King, equal rights, Muhammad teaching of giving to the poor, Gandhi, etc, but it also gave us extremist groups, the Holocaust, the crusades, the down fall of Native American society, the enslavement of Africans, Colonization, etc. I believe that human beings are both capable of doing very good things and very bad things for many reasons. Good people do bad things and vice versa it's just the way human beings work. So we can say all the good things are because of God and all the bad things because people are just bad. Good and Evil have been around a lot longer than the Christian faith!

He admits it in the book of Isaiah.
Isa 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these [things].

God created man with free will to accept or reject him. Man has the right to choose between good and evil. If we did not, then we would be robots. And robots cannot love. God wants us to choose and love him willingly.
Man did not create evil, but they chose evil. Evil is simply the absence of God.

Do you believe in free will? If you do, then we have the choice to do evil things. Note that there is no such thing as evil, just evil deeds. If you don't believe in free will, then God has already decided what you are doing and thus, your only recourse is that you are doing evil deeds because it serves a greater purpose. What's that greater purpose?? God only knows!!!

This is why I cant be christian... the bible is never completely credible. If God created everything, then I suppose he should be able to control evil... and... yet they just need something to blame upon still...
