im thinkin bout bring my dog (black lab blue heeler but kinda a scardy dog) to the nature preserve here in texas but theres a possiblity i may see or be near a bobcat coyote beavers racoon and oppossoms (bigest animals i may encounter except a white tailed deer) should I just go alone or bring the dog too?

It wouldn't be normal for bobcats or coyotes to come after you, but they may be attracted to your dog. Keep the dog on a leash and it would be better to walk with other people to discourage wildlife from coming to close.

Most nature preserves do not allow pets, so the decision may already be decided for you

I think it would be ok to bring your dog but keep him away from any animals that appear.

i probally would'nt. dogs go by there instintc if he sees a smaller animal he might decide to chase it. or a bigger animal can hurt him. better safe than sorry. is'nt there a park where you can take him to ? where he will be safe.
