This is not a group for the religious people only. If you don't like having your point of view challenged, you need to go elsewhere.

We aren't putting negative where everyone else wants positive. We're pointing out to you delusional religious people that those negatives exist since most of you appear to reside in some fantasy world about religion being so positive and good. If it weren't for people like us religious people would have destroyed the planet many times over by now. We are helping to keep your delusions in check, a reality check that is.

And you think atheists are the only ones interrupting sincere questions? You must be new here.
Keep a good watch on the questions that relate to something like Wicca or Hinduism, and you'll see what I mean.

I, as an atheist, have no problem whatever with religion and religious people. However, when religion and religious people try to tell me how to live my life, then I DO have a serious problem. And, unfortunately, religion in this country tries every day to dictate my life. That ticks me off. So I come here to make myself known and voice my opinion.

We, unlike u, don't fight, we debate and discuss. Negative? If you think that un-romanticized reality is negative in comparison to your illusive hopes and belief of the exictance a superhuman, protective father figure, then I think I agree. Why do you speak when you can only make vague and thoughtless statements?

Atheists (at least this one) don't consider it negative to try to educate people of faith, and don't consider belief in a magical superbeing to be a positive. We come at the whole religion thing from a very different perspective, and you bible thumpers just never get that.

They don't seem to have much of a problem with me or many others who believe in God(s). I think it may be mainly the Christians. I wonder why that is?

I guess it's not working.
Holy moly! I just crossed 18,000 points. I obviously spend too much time here. Can I trade these in for airline miles or something?
