Are You Ready for Judgment Day? The Bible says everyone will stand before God to give an account of every word, thought, & action. Will you be innocent or guilty? Let’s look at the Ten Commandments and see if you meet God’s standard. Is God first in your life? Do you love Him with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength? Have you ever lied, stolen, hated, or dishonored your parents? Have you looked with lust and therefore committed adultery in your heart? If you have broken just one of these laws, then you have sinned against God. The penalty of sin is death and eternal torment in hell. The good news is God provided a way out. Jesus Christ took your punishment when he suffered and died on the cross. He defeated death by rising from the grave. If you are ready to accept His free gift of eternal life, you must repent (turn from your sins) and trust in Him alone to save you. It’s not just a one time prayer - it’s a whole new lifestyle.

It's kind of interesting seeing all of the defensive answers. As if becoming a JW or a Mormon will save them and they don't need to hear your message...
It's funny I don't hear Christians getting defensive. When people start asking whether or not JWs and Mormons are Christians, just ask a classic Christian question straight out of the Bible and watch how they get their hackles raised. If they were God's children, they would have gladly accepted your message.
Thank you for the good word. We all need to be reminded that Christ will return anytime.
Matthew 25:13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

The reality is that every Christian religion (including Jehovah's Witnesses and Mormons) believes that to please God and Christ (whether you believe that they are one or separate) you have to follow the Bible as they see it. I really don't know all that much about the Mormon religion, so I really have no right to comment on their beliefs. I will say, however, that I do respect the fact that they too are willing to go door to door to spread the news that they believe everyone needs to know. Mainstream Christianity in the mean time just expects everyone to come to them to hear their message and those who don't are evil and doomed to a horrible fire burning after life. We believe that what we believe is the true Christianity because we believe that we follow the Bible accurately. Not to say that we don't sin, just that our doctrine actually makes sense when you read the Bible.

I'm a Mormon, and by your definition Yes, I am ready. God is absolutely first in my life and I love Him with all my heart. I have broken several of the laws you mention - and some others - but because Christ Jesus died on the cross I can repent and my sins are forgiven and remembered no more.
I prayed that prayer at the age of 14 and began the new life you mention, and it is wonderful. After belonging to various churches I was baptised into the LDS church at the age of 23 (15 years ago) and it has really helped in my walk with Christ, and in becoming close to Him. So yes, I am prepared for judgement, and I know where I stand.

And YOU will be objects of hatred by all people on account of my name; but he that has endured to the end is the one that will be saved. (Matthew 10:22)
None of us can rest on our laurels and think that we are already saved. Jesus said we must endure to the end. He said that if we do we WILL BE saved. Our salvation is yet future and dependent upon our continuing to love God wholeheartedly and live according to his commands despite being objects of the worlds hatred. God reassures us at 2Peter 3:9 that he is patient with us because he wants all of us to become a part of the new heavens and new earth (vs 13)

Halleuliah, brother! You did a great job. Remember God's word never returns to Him empty, but accomplishs what He desires, and achieves the purpose for which He sent it. Isaiah 55 So quote a little scripture along with your witness, to validate it. A good passage would be Romans 3:21-22 or Romans 8:1-2.

I agree with Danni. Besides, the ten commandments no longer applies to us today. It was given to the Israelites . When Jesus came, lived among them, and died perfectly obedient to the Law ( the 10 commandments), he became “the end of the Law"
Of course it doesn't mean we are off the hook and live immoral lives and not follow God's instructions. Instead, Jesus Christ summed up the old Law code, which included the Ten Commandments, with these two commands found in the book of Matthew 22: 37-39:
“You must love Jehovah your God with your whole heart and with your whole soul and with your whole mind” and, “You must love your neighbor as yourself.”
Notice the word "LOVE"---- if all just strive to follow these 2 commands we won't need any other law for LOVE covers all law.

Jehova's Witnesses already believe that. Yes through faith in Jesus we are saved BUT we cant go on sinning either...to repent means to be truely sorry for your actions and NOT repeat them or try your hardest not to. I am ready for judgement day although I know I have sinned greatly I also know that Jehova loves me.

Why are Witnesses mentioned in there?
We wholeheartedly believe that God sent His son, Jesus Christ, to provide an atonement for our sins.
We have never claimed "once saved, always saved"- we claim the opposite! Jesus told his followers that they would have to "exert themselves vigorously" to get in through the narrow door that leads to salvation.
I am anxiously and excitedly awaiting the "great day of God the Almighty."
So what's your point? Perhaps you should clarify your facts before making such errant statements.
Actually, you should probably just not talk at all, k? If you can't say something intelligent, don't say anything at all. >-<
