Open the driver's side door, lock the doors with the power lock switch on the driver's door. Close the door, and then unlock the driver's side door with the key and it should reset your engine demobilizer.

Happened to me on my jeep and I had to call Bucks 4X4 center to find out how to reset the system.

there is a switch on the right front inner fender that senses hood tampering these have an adjustable plunger that seems to sink with time. 9 times out of 10 this is the cause and pulling the adjustable inner plunger up and dropping 1 drop of super glue to lock it in position is the cure [do not get the glue on the actual switch plunger] every one else has told you acceptable ways to reset the system but it won't reset if it thinks the hood is open. good luck [note the 10th time it is the switch located in the tailgate latch, and yes it is sold separately]
