i know about just about every other food that is bad for lovebirds but am wondering just what exactly is bad for them that is green.

All the foods already listed in the other answers and also
NO caffine, alcohol, no high sodium food, no junk food and milk isn't a good idea but one or two swallows won't kill.
My lovebird like ice cream and yogurt..cooked chicken and turkey..cooked brown rice and cooked pasta.

Spinach comes to mind. Not completely bad but it should be fed fairly sparingly due to its high oxalate content. Oxalates bind with calcium making this mineral unavailable for absorption in the body. Particularly a concern if your female is producing eggs.

These are the foods (of any color) that are toxic to birds:
Avocado, rhubarb leaves and apple seeds.

too much cabbage is bad for them dear..avocado also especially it's seed. there are a few more but i can't remember. That's all..

Avocado....they are high in fat & can be fatal to ANY bird...do not give!
