I just started a new job as a mail carrier for the post office. I used to work in a office and I would bring lots of frozen food with me and cook it in a microwave. But now I have to pack a cooler and have no where to cook anything. I am looking for ideas of something else to pack besides sandwiches. Also, I don't like salad so please don't suggest that :) Thanks!

I used to pack a yogurt with my sandwiches (in a cooler bag) when I worked at a factory. Sometimes instead of a sandwich I'd pack a little gladware thing of leftovers from the night before. Chips and dip are good for snacks. And maybe a piece of fruit.

You can try my Pita wrap.

It's delicious healthy and filling. You can make more if you are not sure you will be satisfied with one.

Green Tuna Pita Bread

Ingredients:

1/2 can of tuna in water. Drain it well.
Two tablespoons of chopped celeries
Three slices of tomatoes
One pita bread (6 inches).
3 slices of cucumber
One teaspoon of apple cider vinegar
Two tablespoon of fat free Italian dressing
One green lettuce leaf (chop it well)
A pinch of chopped bell peppers
Salt, pepper and ketchup according to your preferences

Instructions:
Blend the tuna, bell peppers, dressing, apple vinegar and celeries in a bowl. Refrigerate overnight and keep the cucumber, lettuce and tomatoes separated from the tuna mix. When serving just wrap the tuna mix in pita bread securely while inserting the lettuce, cucumber and tomatoes as well. You can add salt, pepper and ketchup to enhance the taste. This makes one serving.

Wraps are a good option, as are tacos or tortillas. You could also bring soup, and keep it in a thermos so it stays warm.
