Online relationships are really complicated. If you guys were that close he shouldn't have gotten himself a real girlfriend. However, online relationships are funny because there's nothing really you can do to prevent that type of stuff from happening with your significant other. If he's not responding, I know it sucks, but you need to move on. Not much else you can do.
To all the people above me, you can find someone on MySpace who isn't a rapist, molester, old man, blahblahblah. I met my current boyfriend on MySpace, he lived in the same town it wasn't like we were across the country though. We set up a date-ish thing after talking for a couple weeks, something in public, meeting somewhere for our date too. I see it as no different as meeting someone at a bar/club, rapists and molesters and old men can go in there too.

This is always a subject that makes my mind twist. Why do people online-date if they still are interested in a real-life gf/bf?
I'd suggest dating in real life. You get a much more heartwarming experience with actual words than just text on a webpage. Abandon MySpace and get out there... Meet a guy at school... Trust me! ;D
And if you've been trying to talk to him and he's ignoring you, he sucks anyways. At least he'd try to tell you that he just wants to be a regular friend from now on.

I think you should just give it up. I think online intamacy is a real risk. There are a lot of psycho's out there. Plus, even with that aside, if he broke up with his g/f and he still isn't responding thier must be a reason. The reason may hurt like he's in jail or doesn't want to talk to you. Or perhaps he just needs some time. I still think it would just be wise to go out and meet someone in person. I think most women are attracted to online dating because the only thing you can do is talk, which isn't most men's cup of tea in person. Please whatever you do, be careful!

First of all, MySpace, or the internet, is not a good place to find a b/f or g/f anyways......Another thing is your being silly about one person when there are several people you have a chance to meet which could have a better personality than that guy....Get over it.....America these days.....

First of all, it is dangerous to be on myspace. I am not an old woman or a grandma haha! I have a myspace too, but you shouldn't be talking to people you don't know. You can't really like somebody who's on myspace, you don't even know them. Get a real boyfriend!

Okay, this is not an immediate solution to your problem, but it can be alot of fun and a big ego booster.. These are some free dating sites that i have been signed up on, and they work great!
plentyoffish.com
okcupid.com
bookofmatches.com
singlesnet.com
After getting signed up on atleast one of these sites, you'll have so many guys knocking down your door, that you won't even remember what's his name!!

he stopped talking to you because he had an actual face to talk to. online relationships aren't based on anything real. do you know the guy outside of myspace? if you do then talk to him in person. if not, then what's the big deal. find someone else to stalk.

Maybe you should try being "b/f g/f" with someone you go to school with or actually know in person.
That myspace isn't the safest way in the world to meet a partner.

even though your emotionally attached to the guy, remember that you don't really even know him. also, he could be with another girl whenever he's not on the computer, and you would never even know. Wouldn't you rather have a real boyfriend too? there's someone better out there for you! good luck
