I am currently almost 17. and involved my whole life in the United Pentecostal Church International. I recently visited my best friends church which is Assemblies of God. The only reason I never went before was I believed in one God, but they believe in 3 in 1. I met a girl there and I love her (Believe me Im sure, God has shown me). But thats not the point, I love the church, it is so much meeker and less corrupt than what I believe Nathanial Urshan has turned the UPC into. I want to go to masters commission and become an evangelist in the A/G. My family doesnt agree with me and are pretty much condemming me to hell for this, and I dont have my own way of getting there besides my friend picking me up, but we can only do that every so often. Is there any way to get my family used to this and is there any more I should know about the differences in the two organizations or about the A/G in general, though I dont think religion is important, I feel God wants me at New Life A/G.

You might point out to your family that it could hardly be pleasing to God that they're ready to condemn you for your interest in a different branch of Christianity. You are not leaving Christianity. Ask them gently and honestly if this is how they think Christ, the Prince of Peace, would want them to behave.
If you look at the Assemblies of God website, it might help you to understand a few of the doctrinal differences. You already know, presumably, what the UPC believes.

Since you ask, I will tell you the truth about the matter. Yes there are major problems with the UPC. However UPC isn't the real question. The question is do you actually have the real Holy Ghost in you? If you did the real Holy Ghost would lead you into all truths. And one truth is becoming part of this church is a form of blaspheming the truth. The Holy Ghost will not require anyone to violate the Word. You need to learn to wait upon Jesus. Unless you think he's weak and totally unable to move in this matter. All churches that Baptize in the Trinity are part of the Catholic Church. If something leads you from the truth, it is not Holy Ghost that is leading you. In this, the time of the end it's no time to be weak in Faith.

I suggest that you look at there doctrine, the Word says if any man speak not according to this word there is no Truth in him. notice that they teach of baptism of the Holy ghost, but do not say that all must be baptized by water as well, without water baptism there is no remission of sins.acts2:38 "then peter said unto them, repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost". note he says name of Jesus Christ only, not the titles, father, son holy ghost .this is the only name in which all were baptized in the word of God. see mark 16:16 and john3:3,to prove no one can enter Heaven without water baptism.JESUS says so Himself.also they claim all receive the gift of speaking in unknown toungs.Paul teaches us that all do not speak in tongues, 1corinthians12:30."have all the gifts of healing? do all speak in tongues?do all interpret?"read the hole 12th chapter, you will see what i bring you is truth.these are just a few ,there are so many more untruths that they teach. remember brother a little leaven, leaven the hole lump. but you are correct Jesus is the one GOD. eph4:4,deut6:4,zech12:1,isa43:10-11,45:15,44:24,john1:113:14,james2:19,neh9:6,jude25. bring these to your parents2tim3:16. ask them to show you the word trinity in the bible.its not there!don't be deceived, there is only one true doctrine of JESUS CHRIST, prove all things by the word. http://www.webspawner.com/users/esth

sounds like you are setting up a case for going there. you will have to pray, seek God and otherwise figure the best way for your future.
i suggest that you dont argue with or try to change them in their position even if they try to change you from yours. i also suggest that you dont involve your parents in any of your decisions and plans for A/G.
that might be the only way that they will "get used to it".
always love your parents no matter what the doctrinal differences you may notice.

It's always tough when our beliefs don't quite agree with our parents. Be patient. If you're meant to go then you will be able to go when the time is right. And in time your parents will see that you still love the Lord with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength. That, and loving your neighbor as yourself, is what is important.

You will never accept the trinity doctrine. As soon as you tell them this they will consider you in a state of apostasy.
There are other denominations - I would say pray and be honest. God will know when you are ready.
