What state are they from? Are you kidding? Do you live under a rock or what? The New York YANKEES are from the Bronx, which is one of the 5 boroughs of NEW YORK CITY.
There WILL be a 27th World Championship back to the Bronx soonly.... Oh yes, there will. (And it will be another 80 years before it goes back to the Boston Red Sux.)
