If you came without a valid visa, entry will be refused unless you apply for asylum. You will be extradited to your own country, usually on a flight of the airline carrier with which you came. To my knowledge there are no administrative costs involved, but the airline company may (and usually will) recoup the return flight fee at your expense.

It's likely this will also ruin your chances of applying for a regular visa, since you've already been entered into the custom's database as a potential illegal entrant.

The Dutch policy on family reunification too, has changed dramatically over the years. In the past, this could have been a reason for leniency on the part of the Dutch authorities, but these days you have to prove economical self-reliance.
