When the bible says there is no forgiveness for blasphoeming the Holy Ghost, but yet true Baptism(that by immersion) is done for the remission of all sins, What do you think blasphoeming the Holy Spirit really is?, and What if you are baptized after you have done it?

It is saying the Holy Spirit does not work. The result is for those not saved is that the Holy Spirit will not draw you to God (His main purpose) and for those saved, He will withdraw from you and the only knowledge you receive will be from man, not God.

From the language in this question, I would lend a guess that you are of the LDS religion. With that being the case, to Blasphoem the holy Spirit, one must know the Holy Spirit. So in order to do that, one must be baptized first. It is my understanding that very few people can actually Blasphoem the Holy Spirit. So no worries there.

It was said about Jesus, one will come and baptize you with the Holy Spirit. Baptism is a revelation.
"the great harlot who sits on many waters" (Revelation 17:1)

"peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.
That is the evil man is possessed by evil spirits. And it is the Holy Spirit in the belief of Jesus that can wash you in baptism.

It is when you come out of those waters, out of Spiritual Babylon, Corrupted Jerusalem The bestial system, created by the dragon, bad angels and evil men. That you will be one with Jesus and with God. Because the Baptism was part of the Law, and now is faith that counts with good deeds.

And this is the revelation of the man of perdition.

Let he who is evil continue to do evil, and let he who is holy continue to be holy.

That is: Let the evil continue to his perdition, and let the holy continue to his grace.

Blaspheming the Holy Spirit means exactly what you think it is, the baptism by immersion has no meaning today, it is done only by people who think they know what they are doing, and I think by the Catholic church for money I guess.

Blasphemy is renouncing God completely, so that you are completely separated from your higher spiritual nature.

You would sentence yourself to damnation (concepts vary) because you separated yourself from God and therefore, had no link to salvation.

If you truly blasphemed...you couldn't be baptized afterwards.

The "baptism" would be a sham, just a dunk in a tub.

No real spiritual conversion.

The baptism shows your commitment to achieving true spiritual awareness and harmony and all that. But you have to be in the game to get the benefits.

Water itself won't wash away blasphemy. Truly irredeemable blasphemy would mean that you wouldn't allow baptism to reach you, you wouldn't be making the spiritual commitment that the baptism is only a symbol of.

Sins are...well, everybody does 'em. It's not right to sin, but people make mistakes. Sins are things that you can apologize for because you're aware that you did wrong. When you sin, you stray from the path, but you don't lose sight of the path completely, so it's possible to get back on the right track.

Blasphemy goes beyond sin--it's the separation of yourself from God. It's not something that you can be forgiven for, because you'd be in no position to ask forgiveness, repent, and be saved.

So try not to do it--you're pretty much stuck with the bad consequences.

And most people never do it. True blasphemy would be a rejection of conscience, compassion, rational thought, love, everything that makes a human halfway decent.

You take that stuff away, you're already in hell. You renounce everything good, and you will be one miserable, crazy, horrible person with no hope of redemption. If you banish all good things from your life, you can't be reached to be forgiven.

So blasphemy is actually pretty rare, because even though some people are horrible, there's still a leeeetle piece of them that wants to be good. It's possible to work with that. The whole mustard seed bit.

But if you ditch the mustard seed, you're screwed.

the word "baptism" there has a continual verb tense, so it isn't aone time deal. it's like you "push" the Holy Spirit away so much with your blasphemy, that He becomes out of spiritual earshot, and you never heed the call. no repentance, no forgiveness

baptism is the sybolic "death" and "rebirth" in Christ. to be forgiven, you repent. and note repentance means you change.

it is possible to sin after being saved or even baptized, and you must repent. you're not supposed to use your forgiveness as an occasion to the flesh. that's abuse towards God!

hope that helps

Baptism doesn't save you, it is just to make a public confession of faith. You have to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, and I do believe that if you blaspheme the Holy Spirit, and then truly repent from it, you can still be saved. Although I am no judge, that is God's job, I wouldn't recommend doing it. It breaks my heart when I hear it....*sigh*

Blaspheming the Holy Ghost, for example some say the people which post things which reflect the hatred they have for Jesus is Blaspheming. I disagree with that view, it's more in line with mocking. Here is why. People can not blaspheme something they don't know.

I think that your passage is another example of the contradictions of the Bible. Fortunately this is not a problem, since all religion is fiction.

I personally think that the blasphemy rule was used to quell dissent among the masses, while the baptism part was to get more followers (ex. "change your life, forgiveness from god/s, etc.)

Everything can be understood given the correct social and historical context. The bible is no exception. It often seems written from the point of a government attempting to maintain behavior, adherence, and coherence in their views. Given Constantine's use of the Bible to unify early Christian sects in the Late Roman Empire, this is no surprise.

baptism "for the remission of sins" is improperly translated "in order to forgive sins". The word "for" actually means "because of". It is more properly translated "be batised because of the remission of sins". It would be like me saying "I ate lunch for I was hungry." It certainly could not be said that I ate lunch in order to be hungry. It helps if you actually look at the grammatical structure of the text instead of just trying to prove your own argument.

Blapheme (leave out the O) of the HS is not something that can occur today because at the time that verse was written believers were not indwelt by the HS. They are today.

spellchecking could help.
...

after a believer is baptized... its in the heart not to displease God or grieve the Holy Spirit.
God knows the heart of those that are His and he is always ready to forgive and re-instate the repentant.

true blasphemy of the Holy Spirit can only be done by someone who really knows what they are doing.

The ministry of the Holy Spirit is to convict the world of sin, righteousness and judgement. To lead them to Christ. (Read John 14, 15 and 16.

Therefore to blaspheme him is to dismiss his work of leading people to receive Christ. In the cases where this is described in the Bible, Jesus was encountering people who KNEW he was the promised Messiah, but refused to accept it. (He knew their hearts, so he was qualified to judge).

So, the fact is, all manner of sin will be (IS) forgiven when you receive God's remedy for all sin, which is to receive Christ's atonement for sin - his death on the cross.

When you have done so, you are honoring the work of the Holy Spirit. When you reject it, you are dishonoring the work of the Holy Spirit.

I don't care how religious you are, if you reject the conviction of the Holy Spirit, you have blasphemed him and are therefore not able to be redeemed.

Same sin is defined in Hebrews 6:6 - there is no other redemption for you, if you trample under foot the blood of Christ.
