There is a law that prevents them from getting federal programs. Even if they turn in forged documents, everything is verified. For a federal program if you do not have the proper paperwork you do not get the benefits. Below are two links (for medical assistance, and food stamps) and they are from two different states, but because it is a Federal program, the rules are the same in each state.

I've heard this before too...that "aliens" are receiving these benefits, including social security...it was on news 4 in MD. They were saying that if all the immigrants didn't get these benefits there would be more than enough for the citizens of the USA to receive more than they do and the homeless would be able to get the help they need also.

Yes. And schools. And if that takes a constitutional amendment, so be it. It is far too easy for them to rationalize it as 'better for the children' when Mexico doesn't give free education through high school to all of their poor, and we do.
Our schools are failing our own children, and until we have 'extra' we can't take on more inflow than we legally have now.
On the health care front, did you see that the Mexican consulates are now helping illegals to get US paid health care (not Mexican paid health care, naturally.)

No, there should be laws preventing Illegal aliens from even entering the country. Oh, wait, there are. We should elect officials that will enforce the immigration laws.

NO, we should be compassionate and increase our taxes even more; I don't think US citizens making $6-7/hour are paying enough in taxes; the illegals need more healthcare for all those unwed pregnant mothers, among other things; no our taxes need to be increased to help out the illegals; don't you think that is only fair?

There should be laws preventing illegal aliends from /being in the country/. Obviously, anytime an illegal interacts with any government agency, that's an opportunity to aprehend and deport them, and that should be done.

I think there are but you are dealing with illegals that have so many forged and stolen documents, they can verify they have been living on the moon for the last 12 months if they need to

That should be a given fact. People here don't even want to support lazy americans-why would we want to support lazy illegals?
I would support a lazy american who commited no crime, before supporting a lazy illegal, who can't follow simple instruction.

I believe there should because some of them just take total advantage of that. They came to work and thats what they should do. Exceptions should be made in extreme circumstances though.

If our government will not stop them sneaking across the border, why would they care if they gave them services they are not entitled to
