I'd call the DNR or a wildlife rehabber. No Bologna, too much salt.

Call a vet to find a licensed wildlife rehabber in your area. Baby possums need a specific diet. They need a safe place to learn to eat on their own and learn how to be returned safely to the wild. This takes time and experience. They do not make good pets...as they mature they can become quite vicious.

STOP!!!! u will kill it, im not joking. i know ur trying to help but its not. u should take it to the vet or wildlife department strate away. but in the meantime put it in a dark place away from everything with warmth. do not feed it any solid foods. if u dont trust me go on the web. ther food ur feeding it will kill it. sorry but u need to stop. if u feel to guilty just give it water. and it depends on its age as well. goodluck. keep us informed on how it goes. but dont keep it. he will die.

i know from experience. use to live on a farm and i did the same thing and the next day i took it to the vet and it died coz i poisened it.

You shouldn't be holding a wild animal. . .
