According to a fairly reliable source on these matters:
Daniel 10:6, NIV:
His body was like chrysolite, his face like lightning, his eyes like flaming torches, his arms and legs like the gleam of burnished bronze, and his voice like the sound of a multitude.
Or, like burnt copper.
Soooo...uh...he was a pretty weird-looking guy.
At least when he was in apocalyptic writing.
The rest of the time, I'm assuming he looked like a lot of people from the Middle East/Asia Minor--tan/golden skin, black hair.
Since he was a carpenter, I'm sure he had a good tan going.
Edit: as far as Jews go, they don't all look the same. My Jewish relatives had pale skin, wavy light brown hair, and light gray/blue eyes.
Depends on their ancestors.

Considering what the people of that region of the world look like today I would say Jesus had dark skin, not quite like an Africans but darker than a caucasian.

The only people that worry about Christ skin color are racist. And probably not true Christians.
Jesus is the Lord of the universe, and all mankind, white, black, yellow, red, etc were made by him.
If we truly love Christ we would not hate others over skin color and would not insist that Jesus must be our skin color or we won't worship him.

I thoroughly agree with you. He probably had beautiful tanned brown skin with great white teeth and drk brown hair with brown eyes. This is how I picture the Lord. Oh, the Bible says he has bronze colored feet. White hair, white robe with gold belt, eyes of fire, voice like the sound of many waters, out of his mouth a 2 edged sword and his countenance like the sun that shines. Revelation 1:13-16

If Jesus was born to Middle Eastern parents, there's a very good chance, in all seriousness...that he probably resembled your typical Middle Eastern male. He might have looked like Osama Bin Laden.
The Bible describes Jesus as very plain looking...someone you wouldn't give a second look to...someone that looked very ordinary.

This is hilarious.
Because some Jews migrated to Europe and mixed with the population long enough to become 'caucasian', Christians have retrofitted history to make Jews retroactively caucasian.
Some people must be born idiots.

You know nothing about history and that's why your silly statement. Hebrews (Jews), although from the Middle East, never used to mingle and/or mix themselves with any other culture, especially by the times of Jesus and before. And, if you, by any chance, know anything about genetics, this fact will prove you that Jesus was not the blonde-blue eyes guy the Middle Ages painted, but was not dark skinned either.

Why does it matter what color his skin was/is ?
It is his message that is the important thing for people to pay attention to - and that has no color, no nationality, etc.
He was about love - not skin color!

i think that the bible mentions that he had skin of 'bronze' and hair of wool. , so im guessing that he was dark skinned with black curley hair. most of the middle easterners that are of darker skin would probably be comparable.
