for which the money was donated...

Say, you donate 10,000.00 for a stained glass window...and you have a plaque put under the window that says...donated by, Joe Smith.

Is this of God...any Bible verses to support or not?

Jesus says, "When you give, give in secret, do not let your right hand know what your left hand is doing, so that God who sees all can and will reward you, but for those of you who stand in the synagogues and on the street corners to boast and brag to everyone of your giving and tithing you have received all the reward you will ever get in this life or in Heaven."

Sounds pretty straightforward and clear as crystal to me.

The minister's earnings could be paid, then there is fee to run the church (electric invoice, water, etc). additionally if maintenance to the development must be made. undecided how extra is dealt with. i don't walk a spiritual course at present day, yet turning out to be up I attended my grandparents church now and back (Primitive Baptist). Their minister's/preachers did not get a earnings (that they had everyday jobs and preached through fact they have been "called" to), and individuals voluntarily donated funds for maintenance of the church (no plate exchange into handed, no particular volume of tithing exchange into predicted). they did not see faith as a company, yet in addition understood there have been some expenses incurred in having a place to fulfill. additionally, of a visting pastor handed off to be in attendance on a given weekend, some could supply him funds to help pay for his commute expenses...yet back it wasn't predicted or required, and continually carried out after the provider, as they have been shaking his hand (like slipping a maitre 'd a tip to get a table).

To us, it may seem like they are boasting in their giving - but only God knows their heart.

1 Kings 8:39
39 may You hear in heaven, Your dwelling place, and may You forgive, act, and repay the man, according to all his ways, since You know his heart, for You alone know every human heart,

1 Samuel 16:7
Man does not see what the Lord sees, for man sees what is visible, but the Lord sees the heart.”

Jeremiah 17:10
I, the Lord, examine the mind, I test the heart to give to each according to his way, according to what his actions deserve.

I'd say Joe Smith was desperately trying to but his way to heaven. Someone who donated that money simply because it was a good thing to do would never want their name stuck on it.

The perfect example:
Jesus said, "Do not give in front of men... If you do you have received your reward, but give in secret and you will receive a reward from God Himself" (Matthew 6:1).

If you have money, give it.
If you don't, don't think badly of those who do.
It's just your jealousy at work.
