Assalam Alaikum ..I am a non muslim and have a friend who is a muslim . He is a very pious person and has utmost yaqeen in Allah and works very hard to keep his 'Imaan' and follows the path showed by Qur'aan and Huzoor SAS . He is the one who has showed me the beautiful path of Islaam not only with words but also with the richness and softness and paakizgii of his character and words and his softer human qualities

My friend has started having 'morning headaches' recently and a benign cyst has also been detected in MRI . Knowing this he has started to refine himself more as a good human being and Muslim and is working harder to fulfill his responsibilities .

My Question is that although I have lots of Mohabbat and Yaqeen for Allah in my heart , but I am still a Non Muslim..Can I say any Dua's or keep any Roza's for my friend. Can I do anything with the Niyat that sabab of what I do goes for the well being of my friend. He is such a nice person please pray for him and his family.

Prayer is a waste of time. Instead, just be with him during this time. He'll need friends more than chanting. Prayer is a way for you to feel good about doing something without actually having to do anything. A real friend would spend real time and effort helping.

One man with a hammer can do more good than a billion people praying.

Maybe your friend is really not suffering just physical health problems. She may be suffering from some form of depression that makes her eat non-stop. If I were you, I'd get the counselor or her softball coach to talk to her and tell her that you (and he/she) are concerned for her health because of her bad eating habits. It's best you have an adult ask her if anything is wrong. I say that because if you do that, she won't be mad at you as much as if you confronted her yourself. You are a great friend for being concerned, but if you are afraid that you may make her mad, then have an outside person talk to her for you. Usually adults are better at handling situations like this than us younger people. Trust me, I know. Good luck and may your friend learn to eat right!!!

Walaikum Asalam,

I don't know if you can fast for your friend. But yes, you may pray for him no matter what. Again, sorry, but I don't know any specific dua for one's health. You can just pray that "Ya Allah, please give my friend health and a long life. Also, give him and his family patience to go through such time."

Your friend is a very good person who has shown you so much about Islam. Be there for him, and Insha Allah he will be alright. Take care.

You can supplicate for your friend my Allah subhanu wa ta'ala return him to good health.

If you are able bring someone to read the Quran near him this is praiseworthy. Its better not to fast for him.

Please know that in Islam we consider bad things like this a an removal of sins or a raising in rank of the believer. These are not things to lose hope over, you should always have hope.

you speak many sweet and kind words. And you appear to not be an enemy to the Muslims.May Allah have mercy on you that you may consent to be guided aright-ameen. As to your friend, tell him to place his hand at the site of pain and say:
'In the name of Allaah' (three times)
...then supplicate seven times:
'I take refuge in Allaah and within His omnipotence from the evil that I feel and am wary of.'
