This guy kept telling me how domestic he was. Just things like he can cook and cleans. Why would a guy keep saying that?

To show that he is helpful around the house.
He wanted to show that he was attractive to you.
If he repeated it again and again, I would see where that would be a little annoying.

Probably because he thinks you would be interested in a guy who can cook and clean. He is trying to tell you that he can do these things for you if you were with him.

He doesn't want to come off as a sexist jerk who thinks women belong in the kitchen - what would you prefer: someone who cooks and cleans themselves, or someone who says "*****, go make me a sandwich!"? Or, he might want you to have a high-paying job and he'll stay at home to cook and clean.

my bf is the same he cleans and cooks etc, i think they say it because us women are more domestic than them and they want you to see that they can be domestic to! if this helps

He's trying to impress you by telling you about his feminine side. It could all be a ploy, or he could really be into those things. But if he keeps saying it, then it's likely him trying to impress you, which says that he's horribly insecure about something, probably having to do with his masculinity or femininity.

He probably is interested in you and wants to make sure you know that he's not some lazy slob looking for someone to mother him. You should find out what else he can do. Maybe you're compatible!

Probably feels like he's a good catch. Just wanting you to know you wouldn't have to do those things if your were in a relationship. Who really knows though.

to let u know he is the one for keep!! Well nowadays lots of tv shows and magazines tell them that we girls prefer guys who will do his shares of housework instead of another male-chauvinist pig who sits on the couch and watch tv wholeday!
