My favorite verse in the Bible has to be Matthew 5:16- "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, so whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have ever lasting life." It's my favorite because it's the first verse I learned- after John 3:16; Genesis 1:1, etc. lol I never really understood the meaning to it, though, until, maybe, a couple years ago! But, last night I learned something at church, from my dad (yeah, I'm a PK). People have favorite verses in the Bible because they don't know the Bible! If everybody really and truly understood every meaning of the Bible- we'd all love every single verse in it! Pretty interesting huh!? Well, until I truly understand every meaning of every word in the Bible (NEVER), my favorite is Mat.5:16--Thanks for asking! :) God Bless!*

John 14:2-3 In my Fathers house there are many mansions, if it were not so i would have told you; I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto my self; that where I am, there ye may be also.

John 3:16
Loved one
You are my treasured possesion. Out of the whole earth, which is mine, I chose you--not because of anything you have done, but out of my mercy and love.
I sought the Lord and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears. Those who look to him are radiant; their faces never covered with shame.

I'm not a Christian, but I would like to see some true believers to prove these passages to me by showing me the "signs of a true believer":
Mk.16:17-18 "And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover."
Lk.10:19 "Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you."

I am a non-Christian not a non-believer. I certainly do not belong to your Satan.
EDIT: I am assuming the thumbs down are for pointing out that Satan is a Christian Deity. Then again I may have earned them for not being a sheeple.

Your posting is kinda insulting to everyone...but...my favorite is
Phillippians 4:13...I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
I believe we can do anything we set our mind too...I have run two half marathons and am now working on a full one...26 miles...this verse goes through my head over and over again...every time I seem to hit the wall...
Also, anytime I have ever been troubled, nervous, anxious or worried...I keep in mind...I can do it...and I can rely on God to strengthen me to enable me to do it.
