No, ive heard of places that guarentee a pass over a weekend for a hell of alot less money its not the extra tutition its more for saving money!

The best way to do it is slowly - to be safe you need to take your time. Driving requires you to learn i) vehicle control under different conditions (dry, wet, dark, fog, etc), ii) motoring law and regulations AND iii) that every other driver out there has their own agenda and set of incompetencies. You can't learn this quickly. If you just want to pass the test and get your license that's different, but then you'll become another accident statistic quickly too. If you need a license quickly then you have to put in a lot of hours as soon as you can, with a good teacher.

It's generally better to learn over a longer period of time than to try and cram it all into a week, but for some it's a neccessary evil. If you learn over a period of several months you should have at least 2 lessons a week to keep everything fresh in your mind. For this reason a crash course could be considered effective as it involves full days of driving instruction :) also if you can get a family member to add you to their car insurance you could get some extra tuition, although you have to be careful this doesnt conflict with the way your being taught by the instructor. Why not have a look for crash courses on google?? also make sure you get your insurance sorted out if you've got a car ready to drive, i presume this must be the case if you need to learn so quickly.
