My moms anemic, is there a chance i am too? I bruise very very easly and a bleed much more than i should, my periods are very heavy and long too, i get light headed very much. I barely eat anything either, i know i blood test is nescessary but i pass out and im afraid seeing my blood will make me faint so what do u think? ((do i pass out b/c im anemic?))

You might just have to bite the bullet and get a blood test - it's better than not knowing if that's what's wrong, or if it's something else - like Celiac Disease or something that's causing a malabsorption of iron. Besides, even if you do pass out, you'll miss out on the pain, right?
If you are anemic, treatment can be as simple as taking an iron supplement every day.

No I doubt it, reckon you are just concerned over your Mother.
The body is self regulating so if you were anemic it would NOT allow the type of menstruation you have.

you might be anemic.
maybe try wearing a blindfold when they draw your blood?
