First of all, I ask that Jesus would comfort you and give you peace in your heart. He said to us, "my yoke is easy and my burden is light". Yes, you can come to know God and there isn't anything tricky about it at all. Just talk to God and admit that you have sinned in life (everyone has, no matter what our circumstances), ask Him to forgive you, and say that you accept His son's sacrifice on the cross to pay for your sins.

That is how you become born again. The only way to the Father is through the Son. This will be the beginning of a new life for you, as God's spirit will indwell you, and give you hope and a future. The next thing to do is find a good bible teaching church. I am sorry that you are suffering with depression and the demands on your life are getting you down. Knowing Jesus, and the promises of God (found in the bible), even in difficult and stressful circumstances, will change your perspective on everything.

I ask that the Lord guide you to His love and peace and healing.

By all means He can do anything for you. Start with getting a personal relationship with him, cry out when you feel the need to cry out then do and don't hold back. Giving your life to God to take over can and will change things, I am not saying you will have a great life but your life will be better specially inside. All God wants is our love and our obedience, or willingness to serve Him and to love Him.You may feel alone but God will fulfill your loneliness and as far as you being weak your not weak, people may see you as weak but your not, your a strong woman, being my yourself and raising them there 2 boys makes you also a strong woman. Just cry out to God and get that personal relationship going with Him.....and stop thinking of yourself or seeing yourself as a weak woman your alot stronger than you realize you are..

Jesus loves you already, and the reason you feel that "empty feeling" is because, He is wanting you to talk to Him so He can give you comfort, and help you with your problems. ( You sound sooo much like I was, and how I was feeling just a few years back, kids..no job...empty, ect. ect. ) If you don't have a Bible, find one, or buy one, and start reading in the New Testament in the book of "JOHN". Here is a scripture I just looked up for you....Isiah chapter 41- verses 10 - 12 13 and 14.....Fear not, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed. I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will uphold you with my victorious right hand. I am holding you by your right hand- I, the Lord your God- I say to you, Don't be afraid; I am here to help you. Despised though you are, FEAR NOT, O Isreal; for I will help you. I am the Lord your Redeemer; I am the Holy One of Israel.....( the word "Isreal" refers to us, the people who are Christians ). Find a church in your neighborhood, you will find some good people there that can help you with your burden. I will be praying for you, and your kids. GOD BLESS YOU, my friend.

At the hardest, lowest, most stressful times in life we are called to believe and to turn to God with our whole heart, soul and strength. It's at those times when the things that separate us from him are cleared out of our lives and God becomes more visible to us. Falling on our face before him and crying out to him in humble contrition with tears of repentance for the sin in our life brings relief sometimes when nothing else seems to make a difference.

While not wanting to appear weak may seem honorable, it sounds like that desire may have cut you off from the personal support you really need. If you have a family member or friend that you can trust, I suggest you let your guard down just a little and share some of your struggles with them.

Don't listen to anyone that says the Lord doesn't love you and He can't make an awesome change in your life. I beg to differ with others view of God, for He's not missing in my life. He would show Himself to anyone whose heart is set on Him. He's there for the asking.

Yes, God is missing in everybody's life. God is just a superstition.

Luckily, you don't have to believe in the God superstition to be happy. As a matter of fact, I am much happier now that I've broken away from that fictitious belief. The world just makes a lot more sense without all the rationalization of contradictory and fantastic unsupported claims.

It sounds like you need some friends in your life. I know it's hard to get away from home, but you have to get some "adult time". See who's around who can watch the kids so you can socialize more. Without other people in your life, it can seem like you're trapped in a deep rut.

Good luck.

I didn't use to think Heavenly Father could help me either but He really can. I used to be depressed but when I think about the plan Heavenly Father has for us I feel so much better. Just ask him through prayer.
You could look up the LDS missionaries in your area, they would be willing to teach you about what Heavenly Father has in store for us.
Or you can email me and I can somewhat give you the lessons through email.
