The RBDS (Radio Broadcast Data Signal): is an on off setting. Press the menu button until RDS shows. Arrows on top selects from onn/off. When turned on, you select with the same arrow, Allows you to search RBDS-equipped stations for the following music formats: Classical, Country, Jazz, Oldies, R&B, Religious, Rock, Soft, Top 40 and Information (Inform). RBDS is only available in FM mode.
