I had an itchy pinkish area on my groin. I made a research and diagnosed myself. I found out it was Jock Itch. I brought an anti-fungal cream and applied it on the infected area. After a few days, the pinkness disappeared. The itchiness subsided. But it still iches a little, in the heat.
I'm still a virgin. I had this since I was 13 or smthg. Could it be HPV?

The same fungus that causes athletes foot is responsible in causing "jock itch".Many times the foot fungus is spread to the groin areas by sweating, and hand contact, and by rubbing with a towel in the same areas. You will need to treat the area for at least 7 days to kill all the fungus.Examine your feet also, and apply the cream to any pink or red spots. This is not a STD and not a Herpes outbreak.Any OTC athletes foot medication is good, generics are cheaper and just as effective.Try a powder in your shoes and in the groin area, helps with the moisture build up,and keeps you drier. Take care. SW RNP

Are you SURE you are a virgin then? Could someone infected with something awful slipped in to your room at night and.......well, you know.

Use talc powder, wear LOOSE underwear, keep the area clean and dry and you will be ok.

If your private part fall off in the meantime then get a lock on your bedroom door. It too late of course but there may be others.
