I've noticed these past few months that at any given hour through the entire night, birds are full on singing. I've never heard them like this... is something wrong? 9pm...11pm..12pm..2am.. you name it, they're singing.

It is busy time for the birdies. They are looking for mates and mating with mates and raising baby birdies. Something to sing about!

Well depends. If it's wild birds, there is not much you can do about it ! It it's domestic birds, then you can make their environment darker, by either putting a blanket over their cage, or just leave them in a dark room for the night, and take them out where they used to be for the day. It's in their nature to sing, thats what birds do !!! But, for my birds, I move them to a room every night, when light are out, they go to sleep until sunrise ! Good luck with your birdies.... what kind of birds you have by the way ?!...

I just saw something not long ago on Discovery about this. The world is changing and their homes are being uprooted and they have to find new homes, so yes, there is something wrong. We need to protect our environment before we lose not only the bees (which are in dangerous supply) but the birds as well. Remember, the birds and bees repopulate our trees and flowers and yes, weeds, but the edible things in this earth. Without them, we are doomed.

Put them in a room away from you so that you cannot hear them. Otherwise, if you are really worried about this, ask someone about the singing birds, if it is a problem, what to do, why they do it, and when it will stop. That, I believe, will solve this annoying problem.

Depends on where you live. In many urban areas, there is just so much light all night long, from streetlights, from signs, from the exterior lighting on skyscrapers and other buildings, that the birds' internal clocks are off. It is light, so they sing..

What kind of birds are they?
I have three parakeets, and they sing all day long.
When we go to bed we cover them with a dark blanket. They calm down and go right to sleep.

Do you put a blanket over them at night? well if you don't, The problem is that they want to stay awake so they sing to keep preditors away.

Maybe you live where there are nightingales. I would rather hear birds singing in the night, than dogs barking, wouldn't you?

If you're talking about wild birds, and depending on where you live, they might be mockingbirds. They sing all night, and rather loudly.
