Take a few deep breaths and slow down for a sec. This doesn't all have to happen over night. There are other dances to go to if this one doesn't work out. Do not ask her if she likes you. You should probably tell her that you would like to do something with her. It doesn't have to be something major right away. Talk to her more and try to get a feel for it first. I'm sure you can tell if she is into you, and you don't have to ask her if she is. That is just setting yourself up for rejection and putting her in an awkward position. Put on a smile and a positive attitude, and if it doesn't work out, c'est la vie. There may be other guys, but guess what? There are other girls. You'll have your chance. Just relax. If you want to get over your shyness, just strike up conversation with this girl or other girls. Force yourself to do it. It will pay off in the long run and you will probably attract other girls in the process. Also, try not to put so much weight on the race issue.

Don't be. If you honestly like her.. You should still ask. Even if she does say no, you would at least know that you can move on to someone else that may actually like you. So take a chance. It's better to know than to be wondering all the time.

Take a chance and ask her. The worst is that she'll say no, and you'll still be without a date. But if she says yes, you'll be walking on a cloud! Which is better?

If you live life in fear of what could happen you'll never know what would of happend. Taking chances can be hard. But if you dont take chances, That would be worse.

if i was you i would get to know her better and maybe ask to sit by her and once you know her well enough then you can ask her out but some girls are different so take a chance but always remember to be yourself.
