unfortunately, you have to tell the truth. It may be difficult to understand now, but that is your best and wisest option

You blew it alright!

I agree with the other writer who said that you need to own up to what you did. Do something uncommon these days and take responsibility for what you did. You alread put it out for all the world to see on the Internet. Now it's time to tell Mom.

Next time try using better batteries and conserving their power by turning off the LCD screen. Use the highest rated batteries you can find. Look for a 2500mah rating... Kodak makes some.

Bummer. Just tell her the camera broke. You don't need to tell her the whole story.

There's only one way to fix it, and it will probably cost $100.
here's where you send it. good luck.

You have to replace it...The wiring and everything must have overheated and is not able to be fixed easily...You might try to take it to someone who works on electronics to see if its possible but I doubt it...

A few years ago I blew my gameboy up by plugging it up with a 9v, even though it was designed for two 1.5v...It started smoking then it wouldnt work(and it smelled bad)...

your camera is dead, face it. either secretly replace it or just tell her it broke.
