My friend who i only talk to online (never met) told me of how she had a dream of how I was at her school and then she started chasing me and we ran throughout the school and then later I disappeared? (she never caught me)

How can she catch up to you...you run for fun, lol. On a serious note, I am more curious to know if she knows how you look (physically)? If not, how accurate was her description of you in her dream?.
I think this dream represents anxiety. She has a new friend whom she has been sharing many conversations on-line. That can be scary for many people because sharing a connection with someone whom you never met on the Internet can bring disappointment and it definitely makes someone feel vulnerable . Maybe she wants a deeper connection with you in some way but is scared of your reaction and actions. Spending time with someone you really don't know is overwhelming. I think she is just expressing her fears.

She feels that she does not know you. She is chasing your personality with tough questions that you are eluding the answers to. The school and running are just how this idea manifests itself.
Either that or she believes(this is all subconcsiously of course) that you are lying to her about something, and she is constanly chasing the truth and when she gets close to it, the issue disappears only to be replaced by a new one.
Just what I think. Sorry for all the spelling errors but I'm too lazy to fix them and you probably get my point.

I believe this dream is directly related to how you two only talk online and haven't met. I don't believe that is a good idea by the way because you could get hurt if they find out any personal information about you and try to hurt you or something like that. The dream means that they want to meet you and have tried so hard to meet you, but it looks to them like it just wont happen. This is just my opinion, and im sorry if it turns out being true.

She subconsciously wants to meet you in person. She feels as though you run away just as she is about to catch up then you dissapear. Have you tried making a personal meeting with her or her with you and just didn't make the commitment. She feels you are just out of reach and there may be a connection she wants to face directly. Her knowing that you like to run just added to the scene in her head and I think she really wants to meet face to face but you are just out of her reach. Try to make that commitment to meet at a restaurant or coffee shop and see if there is that connection.

I think it means she's more interested in getting to know you better (she's chasing after you) and wants to become friends, but she's afraid of trying to get to know you better because you might not feel the same way (you dissapear) and she doesn't want to be chasing after someone with no interest...

She gets on fine with you online and would like to meet you, at the same time, she fears that doing so would change the friendship somehow and she would possibly lose you.

your friendship means a lot to her.
she wishes her offline friends can be as comforting as you.
however the online experience is a bit stressing for her , she is a bit inconfident that you may disappear.
