What do you think Jesus scribbled in the sand when He stopped the adulterous woman from being stoned? I know that it had to be something powerful. My heart tells me it was something along the lines of FORGIVE AS GOD WOULD FORGIVE YOU.

I have heard it said many times that Jesus scribbled the sins of those who accused the woman but I really do not go for this as Jesus did not judge anyone, perhaps He wrote` To err is human to forgive is divine`

If Jesus wrote on paper there would be people who would worship that piece of paper today, much the same as they do the Shroud of Turin. God wanted us to focus on Christ's message rather than His handwriting.

lots of speculation:
could have named some religious leaders she was with or
who committed adultery.
named sins each one quietly committed

note: she was caught in the very act so where was the man?
