Mine has imploded but never melted.
Then again, I don't get bored often or easily. My son does. His brain has never actually melted to my knowledge. If it has, I can safely say that it is not contageous because my brain is still in tact. I have the MRIs and CT Scans to prove it.
(Apparently, brain implosion is not a permanent thing or the brain is remarkably regenerative. Your guess is as good as mine.)

I don't know if I should really answer this in a serious manner or not.
But, your brain does not melt, nor does it have the physical characteristic of melting (IE: No melting point. Neuron's don't melt).
And no, not contagious.

I can sympathize. I felt like that once too. I thought I could feel my brain shriveling up. What helped me was to learn to ride a unicycle, I think it saved my brain. And I moved by now somewhere more interesting.
It can be contagious just like bad mood is contagious...

no it def is not!!! you have to try and motivate yourself and do something! it is impossible for your brain to melt! you loose skills if you stop doing things but you soon learn again! i hope this wasnt a joke question!!

I have never heard of this and I don't think if it did happen it would be contagious. Your head can get really hot because of fever.
