Means he just likes the sex and doesn't want to you go overboard. The two of you can't ever just be friends since he never wanted to be your friend to begin with. You are doing the only thing the two of you can, if you don't want just that then move on.

I think he means exactly what he says. He likes you a lot - loves you - but as friends - only. You can ask him exactly what he means but he already sorta said it trying to be polite and not hurt your feelings. And if he doesn't know if he wants to still be together, well I think honey, you should move on for you own good cuz you should have a guy that's amazed and feels special each and every day that you're with him - that you chose to be with him. There is no need for you to be bitter with this guy you've been seeing for 5 months (BTW - it is not really possible to be in love with someone after 5 months. Love takes time and healthy love requires time to grow). You should actually appreciate that's he's being honest with you even if it is in his own unclear way - he probably is just trying to be nice and not hurt you. Don't freak out. Instead respect what he says - and most of all, respect yourself. You deserve the best and you deserve a guy who loves you for who you are...more than just friends.

Just b/c someone loves you doesnt mean they are in love with you. So keep that in mind. Also dont over think the situation talk to him to find out exactly where yall are so you wont be mislead. But you have to respect his decisions, and dont force what is not there. If it is there enjoy it but what ever it is embrace it for what it is nothing more or less and let time do the rest

Well, Well, Well, Its been 5mths and he still dosent know wheather he wants to be with you, THe answer is no, because if he did he would give the straight up answer and say yes i love you and I want to be with you, he's just not ready to be in a relationship I suggest for you to sit and have a serious talk and let him know its been 5mths and let him know how you really feel and you want to be more than just friends, but obviously he aint ready to settle down.

You said that you think your relationship with him is great, but it does not sound great. It sounds one sided. You are really into him, but he just likes to spend time with you.

You would do best to try just being friends. He will probably be happier with that and you will not be so anxious.

A real relationship is two sided and should be completely reciprocated.

Take care,
Troy

Most people would say that loving someone (in a romantic sense) automatically includes a desire to be with that person. So if he doesn't know if he wants to be with you, he doesn't love you, at least not in the way that you are thinking.

I think you should ask him exactly what he means. Ask him straight up if he wants to end it. And if he does then do not be friends w/ him if you're hurt. It will only make it harder for you in the long run. Trust me.
