Wikipedia is always good. And it always has links to the sources used to prepare the article at the bottom.

Here's an excellent article from the folks over at RealClimate (a Blog run by fifteen climate scientists) with a variety of links that cover all the basics of global warming theory. They've got it cut up into sections for total GW Newbies, Pros, and people who understand the theory but just want some information on common talking points used by the skeptics. The second link down is my favorite.

The whole site is excellent as well, it's mostly dedicated to refuting arguments made by the skeptics, but it does so nicely. You might want to check it out.

Have a look at this site - http://profend.com/global-warming which tells you the causes and effects of climate change, establishes if it's real, looks at possible future changes, what steps can be taken now and in the future, the arguments against global warming and explanations of many global warming myths.
One of the previous answers mentioned some methods of reducing CO2, all these and other schemes are included on the above site. Check out the video page as well, there's links to lots of videos about climate change (both for and against).
Also, it's available as text only so can be easily copied and you don't need permission to copy any of the text and graphics.
Have a look at my previous answer to a similar question which lists lots of ways to combat global warming - http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AgNjO9gJGRLpqdZbbAl3EH8jzKIX?qid=20070418110440AAGU5TW

If the IPCC is correct, then even reducing GHG emissions to the levels called for in the Kyoto Protocol won't make a bit of difference.
So reducing CO2 emissions is out as a solution.
Check out seeding the oceans with iron to make plankton bloom. That, in theory, should induce more CO2 consumption by the palnkton, thus removing more from the atmosphere.
Check out sequestration techniques, such as pumpiing CO2 into empty oil wells and the like.
Check out increasing particulate matter inthe atmosphere. The theory being that particulates reflect light, thus slowing global warming.
I don't have any sites in particular, but you should be able to google these ideas and get some hits.

You have several options.
The first is easy. You can always google it and select sites such as wikipedia. If you want to have some extra information on green cars go to www.puregreencars.com. The last option that will allow you to recieve a large amount of information is to rent the movie: An Inconvinient Truth. You can rent this movie at Blockbusters or your local library.

Since you are doing a school project I presume that you are going to give both sides. Here is some information from the other side. People that believe that the earth is warming, only that it isn't caused by human activity. http://www.junkscience.com/Greenhouse/

I don't usually like about.com pages, but this one is really informative. It breaks everything down into simple explanations, but doesn't cut out any of the details. I used it when I was writing a paper about global warming last year.
