It might depend on the insurance company, but I know at the company I'm with, you get a break at 25. It doesn't go into effect right on your birthday, but at the renewal nearest your birthday.

It used to be, but I think that changed, because someone sue for age discrimination a few years back. Based on my insurance papers, it seems like I get a discount for having been a driver for over 9 years.
